Nissen DavisNissen Davis is managing partner of Davis & Chang Communications International, and specializes in marketing communications, media relations, government affairs, special events and speech preparation.
Mr. Davis previously headed international marketing communications and state and local government affairs for Hughes Electronics, owners of DirecTV. This included stints in Tokyo overseeing communications for DirecTV Prior to joining Hughes in 1994, Mr. Davis was vice president communications for McDonnell Douglas Asia Pacific, based in Hong Kong His 10 years at MDC included VP Communications for McDonnell Douglas Information Systems Co. and Communications Director for Douglas Aircraft Co.
Earlier he was vice president advertising and public relations for Flying Tiger Line, and held a White House appointment as director of public affairs for the Federal volunteer agency ACTION, whose divisions included the Peace Corps.
A veteran of the advertising industry, Nissen spent five years with the J.Walter Thompson agency, and five with Wynn Oil Co.
A native of South Africa, Nissen was a journalist and advertising copywriter before moving to the United States. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in business administration at the University of Redlands, and is accredited as "APR"by the Public Relations Society of America.
